Why we need Brain Camp
One day we’re up the next we’re down. From one day to the next, things don't significantly change, but our emotions significantly change
Our bodies deteriorate and our minds run in circles. The connection between the physical body and the mind is a well-traveled path but one we travel largely in the dark.
Learning to navigate the connection between mind and body is life changing. We try yoga and don’t learn to manage the connection from movement to the stillness. We try meditation and find it difficult to still our minds.
What is this “Brain Camp”?
This is a program to prove how we can be more emotionally and physically connected. We will intentionally manage the fluctuations in our mind-state and physical deteriorations which naturally occur when we are not in control.

How did we get here?
When we started doing yoga with Sheila, we found that even before getting into any sort of poses, the connection between the mind and the body needed to be established, so that we create balance and stability, and we needed to create posturing to enable the breathing to occur with a sense of flow instead of constraint.
When we started focusing on these things, we started talking about the connection between the mind and body and how we can change our state of mind through our bodies and vice versa so we decided to create a program that would inform us on how to do that.
Where does it lead?
What we hope to achieve is a transition in states (physical, emotional, mental) through several stages. It will begin with our physical and mental ego states. It will transcend us into a more meditative reflective state where new realities can emerge. We will learn to go from our thoughts to the root of our thoughts. Then, we will start to dig into how we absorb our thoughts into our everyday patterns of being. We will learn how obstacles present themselves to us and how we can remove those obstacles. We will move to a level of direct experience whereby our thoughts do not get in the way of what we are feeling. We will experience the world directly, without hijacking our emotions with our thoughts.
Ultimately, we can change our minds and we can play an active role in how we perceive and how we experience our life in our bodies through our senses.
